Canada 3.0 is your opportunity to celebrate Canadian leadership in digital media, from industry to academia, government to the arts.
This year’s event features:
- An interactive digital media technologies showcase
- A pitch-off competition featuring 100 Canadian startups
- Keynote presentations and interactive breakout sessions with world-class speakers
There are myriad reasons for industry, government and academia to attend Canada 3.0. And with a diverse and thought-provoking program scheduled over two intensive days, attendees are sure to make new connections, learn about new technologies and plot a course for their organization to use digital media to drive productivity, connectivity and profitability.
The conference organizers have developed four streams for the conference: Connectivity, Productivity, Content and Capital (Talent and Access to Capital). These streams were carefully chosen based on the findings of Canada 3.0 reports from previous conferences, insights shared with the Canadian Digital Media Network as its National Tour travelled from coast to coast over the past six months, and input from industry, government and academia. These are the primary contributing factors to Canadian success in the digital media realm and effective management of and access to these resources will help to create companies, jobs and wealth for the nation.
It’s important to note that in the CDMN’s view, digital media is defined as any information that is created and shared virtually rather than physically, enriches communication, facilitates knowledge transfer, drives innovation, and improves productivity across all industry verticals. The breakout sessions in the various streams have been created with that definition in mind.
